Concierge longevity testing · Cape Town

Know what your body is telling you.

Your annual checkup looks for disease. Signal looks for the decade before it: the cardiovascular, metabolic and genetic signals that standard tests skip. We come to your home, draw your blood in fifteen minutes, run it in our own lab, and a doctor reviews every result before it reaches your private dashboard.

Atlantic Seaboard · City Bowl · Southern Suburbs · results in days, not weeks

How it works

Fifteen minutes at your door. Everything else is ours.

No referral, no queue, no pathology waiting room. You book a window, we handle the rest.

01

We come to you

A registered nurse visits your home or office at the time you choose. A gentle draw and a cheek swab, and you're done in fifteen minutes, before the coffee is cold.

02

Our lab does the work

Your sample travels by monitored cold chain to Signal's own laboratory. Nothing is sent to a third party: our analyzers, our sequencer, our quality control, every time.

03

A doctor reviews, you understand

Every report is reviewed and released by a registered doctor, then lands in your private dashboard: plain language, optimal ranges, and exactly what to do next.

The panels

Choose how deep you want to see.

Every panel includes the home visit, our own lab processing, doctor review, and your results dashboard. No hidden extras.

Why Signal

"Normal" is not the same as optimal.

Standard pathology flags you when something is already wrong. Signal reads the same blood for what it says about the next twenty years: the difference between a result that says "fine" and one that says "here is what to change now".

The standard checkup

  • Total cholesterol: misses up to half of heart-attack risk
  • Fasting glucose: flags diabetes only once it has arrived
  • "Within range" verdicts, calibrated to sick populations
  • A PDF of numbers, no interpretation, no plan
  • Queues, referrals and waiting rooms

The Signal panel

  • ApoB and Lp(a): the particle counts that actually predict risk
  • Fasting insulin: metabolic decline visible ten years earlier
  • Optimal ranges, calibrated for performance and longevity
  • A doctor-reviewed plan: what to change, what to retest, when
  • Drawn at your home, results in days

One score. Every signal. A clear next step.

Your dashboard turns 45+ biomarkers and your genetics into one picture: a Signal Score you can track, each marker on a simple optimal-to-attention scale, and a short list of actions your reviewing doctor stands behind.

Retest quarterly and watch the score move. That's the point: not a snapshot, a trajectory.

Membership

Health is a trajectory, not a snapshot.

Signal Membership: your quarterly rhythm.

One blood draw every quarter, at your home, tracking the markers that move: metabolic, cardiovascular and inflammatory signals. Watch your Signal Score respond to what you change, with member pricing on every panel and priority booking. Like the noon gun, it works because it's regular.

Questions

The honest answers.

Is this a medical diagnosis?

No. Signal is a wellness and prevention service. Every report is reviewed and released by a registered doctor, and anything that needs clinical follow-up is flagged to you directly, with a referral where appropriate. Signal complements your GP; it doesn't replace them.

Where does my sample actually go?

To our own laboratory in Cape Town. We run our own analyzers and our own DNA sequencer, with daily quality control. Your sample is never sent to a third-party lab, and your results never pass through anyone else's system.

What happens to my DNA data?

It stays yours. Your genetic data is stored encrypted, processed under South Africa's POPIA privacy law with your explicit consent, never sold, and never shared. You can request deletion at any time.

Do I need to fast before the draw?

Yes, for the most accurate metabolic markers we ask for a 10 to 12 hour fast. Water and black coffee are fine. Most clients book a morning visit and eat breakfast the moment we leave.

Which areas do you cover?

The Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl and Southern Suburbs, with corporate visits across greater Cape Town. If you're outside these areas, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

How fast are results?

Blood panels are typically reviewed and released within a few days of your draw. Genetic panels take longer because sequencing and doctor review take time: expect about two weeks for DNA Blueprint and three to four for Whole Genome.

Can my company book this for our team?

Yes. Signal runs executive testing days: we set up at your office and screen your team back to back, each person getting the same doctor-reviewed report. It's the single most popular way companies discover us. Ask about corporate days when you get in touch.
