Nurses in Cape Town

Morning home visits, paid per visit.

Signal Health gives members a full blood panel at home, twice a year, read by a doctor. We are looking for a few freelance nurses to make those visits. You set your mornings; we fill them.

The visit

Under an hour in a member's home or office: a blood draw, a urine sample, blood pressure, waist, weight, height and grip strength. Then you drop the samples at our partner lab.

The hours

Weekday mornings, starting between 06:30 and 08:00. We are starting small, with a few visits a week, and growing as members join.

The pay

Per visit, plus travel, paid by EFT every month on your invoice. Tell us your rate below.

What we need from you

SANC registration in good standing, and confident venepuncture.
Your own reliable car and a driver's licence. Members are spread across Cape Town.
Free weekday mornings. One or two a week is fine to start.
Your own professional indemnity cover. You work with us as an independent nurse, so the cover is yours. If you do not have it yet, it needs to be in place before your first visit.
A warm, neat, professional presence. You are the face of Signal in a member's home: clean scrubs, tidy and on time.
A recent photo of you, the way you would arrive at a visit. A short video saying hello is a big plus: we see those first.
