# Signal Health

> Don't wait to feel it. Signal Health is a home health membership in Cape Town, South Africa. A full blood panel at home, twice a year. Heart, blood sugar, hormones, thyroid, liver, kidneys and vitamins, read by a doctor and explained in plain words. A registered nurse comes to your home or office for the draw and body measures, a registered partner pathology laboratory in Cape Town runs the tests, and a registered doctor reviews every result before your personal report reaches you.

Signal Membership is the main product. For anyone who does not want a 12-month plan there is one alternative, the Signal Baseline, the same Baseline visit every member starts with: one home visit by a registered nurse, the full Baseline blood panel plus the nurse's body measures, doctor-reviewed results and a clear personal report. R5,950 once, VAT included. No retest, no 12-month plan and no Signal Score tracking over time. Full refund within 7 days if you change your mind before your visit. Join the membership within 30 days of your report and the R5,950 counts towards it.

- Price: the first 100 members pay R695 a month, locked for their first 12 months. From member 101, membership is R995 a month. Prices include VAT.
- Term: a 12-month membership, paid monthly by card (Yoco).
- Refund: a full refund within 7 days of joining if you change your mind before your first visit.
- Visits: a Baseline visit in month 1 and a Progress retest in month 6, each about fifteen minutes, at your home or office.
- Included: the nurse, the laboratory, the doctor's review and your report for both visits, plus body measures (blood pressure, resting heart rate, weight, height, waist, grip strength) at both visits.
- Area: Greater Cape Town (Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl, Southern Suburbs, Northern Suburbs, Blouberg and the West Coast, Somerset West and the Winelands).
- Not a diagnosis: Signal is a wellness service that complements your GP and does not replace them.
- Medical aid: medical schemes hardly ever pay for routine blood tests, so members pay for the membership themselves.

Results: up to 133 results a year across two home visits (up to 87 laboratory measurements, 28 calculated values, 18 body measures by the nurse). The first visit gives up to 77 results, including up to 52 laboratory measurements.

The giver pays R7,995 once (VAT included), tells Signal who it is for, adds a note and picks the day Signal tells them; the recipient then books their own visits. The membership belongs to the recipient, runs twelve months from their first visit and does not renew by itself. If they would rather not take it up, the giver can give it to someone else.
